Kirill Petrenko, Chief Conductor Berlin Philharmonic
‛Hanna Bachmann plays with great musicality, creativity and technical skill. Her delicate sound and her interpretation are a testament to a mature personality at the piano’.
Being described as ‘a mature personality at the piano’ by the chief conductor of the Berlin Philharmonic Kirill Petrenko, 1993-born Hanna Bachmann has established herself as an internationally recognized pianist. Notable concerts include performances at Vienna’s Musikverein, at the Berlin Philharmonie, at the Beethoven House Bonn, at Bonn’s Beethovenfest, at the Blüthner Concert Series Vienna, at the festival Kultursommer Semmering and at the Bodenseefestival. Furthermore, the proud recipient of the Vorarlberg’s Richard-Wagner Scholarship and graduate of the university Mozarteum Salzburg gave her Americas debut with the Orquesta Sinfónica de San Luis Potosí and conducted a masterclass at the renowned UNAM in 2018. Return performances in Mexico as soloist of Clara Schumann’s piano concerto followed in 2019, as well as a promising tour to the US and Canada and her debut in Israel.
Besides her solo activities, Hanna Bachmann is a passionate chamber musician and song pianist.
She has released two piano albums with Beethoven’s Diabelli variations, amongst others as well as an album as member of the Schwarzenberg Trio and the album ‘Dream with me’ with the singer Elsa Janulidu.
The Schwarzenberg Trio consists of Franz-Markus Siegert (concertmaster of the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra), Roland Lindenthal (principal cellist of the Vienna Volksoper) and Hanna Bachmann.
In addition to their home base in Vienna, the three musicians are united by their love of chamber music. Their enthusiasm and joy of playing characterize the ensemble and thus their Debut CD, which was produced during the Corona period, was highly praised by the press.
Since 2021, the Schwarzenberg Trio has had its own concert series at the Haus der Ingenieure Wien and has given concerts at the Montafoner Resonanzen, the Beethoven Festival Gneixendorf, Budapest and London, among others.
